We've got our hands on the Beta of Windows 7 earlier this year, but now we finally decided that it's time to give it a go.
So we've asked our Web Designer to put on his Dell Laptop (a machine that is now over a year old and was a bit slow with Windows Vista).
The results? Amazing, the computer is fast, there was not a single crash yet and all the processes seem to be running faster and respond without any delay.
We haven't experienced any issues with software, all that was working on Vista Business, works on Windows 7.
So are we ready to implement Windows 7 in Beta? No. Why? Because there's compatibility issues, adding to the network was hard, we had to wipe the computer, there's still some minor bugs that we can see here and there, nothing major but it's not ready yet to be used for the whole of the office.
